The mission of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps is to build leaders of character.

​

Leadership opportunities and learning valuable skills opens a wide variety of career paths for our cadets. Examples include public service, medicine, aviation, cyber security and law enforcement.  Many will pursue higher education. While there is no requirement for military service, many cadets join the armed forces. 

​

We are one of the largest combined units of 400 across the USA. Many cadets will travel far distances to be a part of the Sacramento Division/Training Ship California.
